Every November and December, Universal Orlando pulls out all the stops for the holidays! From festive decor at the resorts to seasonal treats to special activities and events throughout the parks – Universal does the holidays right.

Of all the holiday offerings my very favorite is The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular! This lively show is a re-telling of Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It combines elements from the book, animated special and live action movie featuring festive music recorded by Mannheim Steamroller.

The musical features a talented cast of performers who bring the Who’s of Whoville to life – including Cindy Lou Who and of course, the Mean, Green one himself. Although the real scene stealer is Max the dog! He’s just adorable.

Between the toe-tapping songs and fun choreography, not even The Grinch himself could walk away from The Who-liday Spectacular without his heart growing three sizes!

The 30 minute show takes place 6 – 8 times daily and is definitely worth including in your time at Universal’s Islands of Adventures. I make a point to see it every time I visit. No two performances are alike as The Grinch is completely unpredictable and a pro at hysterical improvising.
