One of my favorite events at the Walt Disney World Resort recently returned! I am a huge fan of the After Hours events held at select parks. Last week, I got to experience the return of this event at the Magic Kingdom.

After Hours is being held at Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Typhoon Lagoon. The specially ticketed event allows guests to experience the parks for 3 hours after they close to regular guests. With limited attendance, the wait times for the most popular attractions drop significantly!

We walked on to so many popular rides at our event last week. Just look at everything we did in under 3 hours!
Jungle Cruise
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Haunted Mansion
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Space Mountain
Peter Pan’s Flight
Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Even some of your favorite characters stick around for a late night meet & greet!

In addition to lower crowds and shorter wait times, the event also includes unlimited popcorn, frozen treats (Mickey Bars for the win!) and bottled sodas and water.

Exploring the parks at night with such low crowds is so cool. It’s so rare to be able to stroll down Main Street or walk through Toy Story Land without dodging hordes of people. It’s definitely a very different feel.

It’s also a great time to get photos in your favorite areas of the parks without a bunch of strangers in the background!
