I recently sailed Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas out of their all new Galveston Port!

This ship is so fun! Day or night, there is always something happening! From a steel drum band on the pool deck to trivia to full blown Broadway musicals and a Water Show, you will not be bored!

As a big theatre nerd, the highlight for me was the Allure’s production of “Mamma Mia.” I saw this show on Broadway a hundred years ago and this was easily as good. It is such a fun way to spend two hours!
Royal Caribbean Oasis Class ships feature an aqua theater at the Boardwalk. They show movies on 2 big screens periodically, but the nighttime water spectaculars are NOT to be missed! On this sailing the show was OceanAria! These shows feature acrobats, divers, music and dance.

The Ice Shows on Royal Caribbean are another totally unique entertainment offering. This sailing’s show was “Ice Games,” which centered around Monopoly. It was so cool watching these talented skaters perform on an ice rink at sea!

The Dazzles Lounge featured nightly entertainment with a live band. Each night was a different tribute, from Michael Jackson to Whitney Houston to Stevie Wonder. I looked forward to these performances every evening.

Comedy shows are offered in both the comedy lounge and the main theatre. I only made one of these performances since there was so much going on, but we laughed so hard and had a great time.
Other activities include a Silent Dance Party, Karaoke, and Dance Lessons!
Royal Caribbean ships are always full of amazing entertainment to keep you busy at sea!
